Support this trio

I support Amber Waldref, Jon Snyder and Candace Mumm in their campaigns for Spokane City Council. As a two-term member and current chair of the City of Spokane Plan Commission, I have the opportunity to work with Amber and Jon in their current City Council positions, and with Candace during her term as chair of the Plan Commission. As a council District 2 resident, Jon also represents my interests on the City Council.

My experience with the three candidates has shown me they understand the importance of planning that is consistent with the goals and policies described in the comprehensive plan adopted in 2001 by the citizens of Spokane. The comprehensive plan not only addresses land use and zoning but also transportation, housing, levels of service for fire and police, neighborhoods, plus other goals and policies crucial to the livability and economic vitality of our city.

All three candidates have demonstrated their support of the comprehensive plan’s goals and policies.

So, I ask you to join me in support of Amber, Jon and Candace in their City Council campaigns in the upcoming primary and general elections.
