Duane Rasmussen, who provided Huckleberries with this photo, reports: “Senator Crapo arrived late today to his scheduled luncheon in Bonners Ferry , delayed by the asphalt being laid on the road North of Sandpoint. When he did arrive, he was angry at the federal government and its violation of our privacy. He said that the outside of all our mail is being scanned and recorded for future reference. When asked if he learned anything that he had not know before from the information provided by Snowdon, he said he had. Crapo said that he went over the law carefully with government representatives and learned that they felt they had the right to examine and retain meta data from everyone which meant basically everything but the contents of a message.
