YHTBKM: OK w/Post Falls Being Less
YouHaveToBeKiddingMe (re: Henderson to be seeking 2nd Post Falls term ): Perhaps you have not visited Post Falls? We have a beautiful library. Kroc center? No why would we need that when there is one? No we don’t have a ‘vibrant downtown’ - mostly because we don’t have a downtown at all - and really haven’t for the last 30 years at least. We do have some beautiful, well maintained and heavily visited parks - all a little different in what they offer and many along the Spokane River. Oh and I think we figured out that if we have a park we don’t need to spend money to bulldoze it and make another park. Not to say our parks haven’t been improved over the years - they have. I do believe that Post Falls requires a certain amount of common green space in new developments too so that we are always getting ‘new parks’. Our elected officials are accessible and responsive, and the best of all - No Drama! So if our councils ‘does less’ then I’m good with that.
Question: Obviously, Post Falls has come a long ways since it served as a bedroom community for Coeur d’Alene and Spokane. Has it come far enough, as far as you’re concerned?
