AM Headline: WWAMI’s New Class
Sophie Clark, 21, was one of 20 students who attended their first day of medical school Wednesday at Washington State University Spokane. She’s among 235 students who were accepted in University of Washington’s WWAMI — a doctor training for five Western states, hence the acronym for Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. Clark and the other student received a stethoscope at the end of the day. Jody Lawrence-Turner SR story here. (SR photo: Dan Pelle)
