Kidnapper’s Car Found In Idaho
A car matching the description of one driven by kidnapping suspect James DiMaggio has been found in Valley County. The vehicle was found in a remote, mountainous area near the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Friday morning, according to Andrea Dearden, spokeswoman for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle is not easily accessible, Dearden said, and it may take several hours to get more information from the scene. Although the license plates were removed, the VIN number matched DiMaggio’s car, San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore said Friday at a press conference. He said horseback riders who were camping in the area say they saw DiMaggio and Hannah Anderson in the wilderness Wednesday.The pair was hiking with camping gear.
