Cheers for Knezovich

Rah, rah, rah … for Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich and his deputies! Hats off to you for your efforts to clean up the department in spite of the gang of four (Integrity First).

You fired the man who ordered an inmate to take off his clothes and do jumping jacks. That decision was overturned. You fired a man who in a fit of anger stabbed car upholstery and wrote up nine other charges because he didn’t like the woman’s attitude. That decision was overturned. The deputy who exposed himself to a young girl? That decision was also overturned, etc.

Doug Clark had it right: Anyone with a grain of integrity would have fired them. Yet the Integrity First gang goes after Knezovich for daring to insist on honesty and ethical conduct. Anyone can make a mistake; no one is perfect. But if you wear the badge and swear to uphold its honor, you do not act like a clown, spoiled child or pervert.

Knezovich is trying to make this a better place; show your support. Let us help him by keeping him in office.
