Wednesday Wild Card 8.14.13

I always turn my cell phone off at night when I go to bed. Good thing because yesterday I woke up to a text from a source pitching me a possible story. The text came in at 6:30 AM.

I really don’t like texts from people who aren’t friends/family. For one thing I have to send a “Who is this?” reply, which sounds kind of rude. But for another thing I much prefer to conduct business via email. There’s a reason my email is listed on the newspaper’s staff page.

Am I old-fashioned? Do you do business via text?
