Widmyer, Meyer Quit BNI Board

On the Balance North Idaho page, the administrator posts: We have several board member announcements:

• 1. Steve Widmyer resigned from the BNI board immediately following his announcement to run for CDA Mayor. We were unaware of his plans prior to his resignation.
• 2. Sara Meyer’s family has a new addition, baby Jasper, and with two young boys she is quite busy. As a result, she also resigned from the board.
• 3. We are thrilled to announce a new board member who is a Post Falls resident, Ryan Brodwater.
• 4. We are seeking board members who reside in Hayden and Rathdrum to round out our board’s county-wide representation.

Facebook comment from new BNI board member Ryan Brodwater: ” Growing up in Coeur d’Alene, it’s been disappointing to me to see the staunch partisanship being injected into local non-partisan races. I’ve often wished that local political candidates could be evaluated based on qualifications and experience, not political ideals that really have no relevance to the job at hand. I strongly feel that Balance North Idaho is doing exactly that, and I’m honored to have been added to their board.”
