Copeland To Seek McEvers’ Post

On her Facebook wall, Amber Copeland posts: ” Tomorrow I will file my candidacy paperwork and officially become a candidate for Coeur d’Alene city council Seat 4.” Councilman Woody McEvers, who now holds Seat 4, told Huckleberries earlier this summer that he would seek re-election. On Monday, Sharon Hebert filed her candidacy paper for Seat 4, setting up a three-way race. In the mayor’s race, Steve Widmyer and Mary Souza filed their candidacy papers Monday. Also filing was Amy Evans, who will run for the seat being vacated by Councilman Mike Kennedy.
