Trees Were Cut For Diamond Cup

Several of you questioned the accuracy of a letter by 9YO Ryan Eaton on HucksOnline complaining about trees being cut down along the Centennial Trail to accommodate the Diamond Cup races. This morning, Ryan’s father provided Huckleberries with three photographs of at least 6 trees that were cut — along the parking lot across from Tony’s and the lot between the Beachouse and Tony’s. This morning, Ryan’s mother counted 7 or 8 trees that were cut along the first lot and twice that many along the second.
