Invoking God not a solution

America is awash in poverty. But the conversation as to solutions was not advanced by Rev. Steve Massey’s Aug. 24 column as he unloaded his religious poppycock. Reasonable solutions are available without resort to futile calls to a fanciful God and his supposed agents.

No one asks to be born, so all are entitled by human society to a decent life in the interest of justice. It is just part of the moral landscape.
