Object to apartment complex

I would like to inform the residents of Airway Heights of a proposed development in the Aspen Craig subdivision. There will be a public hearing on this issue on Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Airway Heights Community Center in the Council Chambers.

This proposed project borders 12th Avenue, West Street and Craig Road. The developer is asking the planning commission to recommend a rezone from the current R-2 duplex/RM residential manufactured zone to a multi-family residential zone to enable the developer to build between 32 and 45 two-story fourplexes on 10.33 acres to accommodate future displaced residents of Solar World and other residents of the accident potential zone, south of U.S. Highway 2.

I live on 12th Avenue. My back patio faces this proposed development, and I personally have many issues with this zone change. So I would like to see my fellow residents come and attend this meeting and voice their objections or non-objections to this proposal.
