CdA To Mull Downtown Sidewalk Plan
The Coeur d’Alene City Council on Tuesday will consider a proposal that would pave the way for $400,000 in sidewalk improvements in the downtown area over the next two years. The council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. The city’s Public Works Committee, a subcommittee to the City Council, has recommended the full council consider the sidewalk improvements. Under the proposal, the city would tap $300,000 in available funds previously set aside as part of the citywide Sidewalk Hazard Abatement Program to fix sidewalks/Keith Erickson, Coeur d’Alene Today.
