How Crapo Got His Face Owie

If you’re following the new bipartisan budget agreement, you may have noticed that U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, is one of several conservatives tentatively voicing his objection to the $85 billion compromise designed to fund the federal government until 2015. Crapo is a member of the Senate-House Budget Conference Committee. It was tasked with coming up with an agreement to avert another federal government shutdown while also ending the budget crisis cycle that has plagued Congress for several years. What you may have missed, however, is the rather large mark on Crapo’s cheek. I’m not an avid CSPAN watcher, but a political reporter over at the Daily Caller caught the senator sporting a cut while voicing his opposition to confirming U.S. Rep. Mel Watt to the Federal Housing Finance Agency/ Kimberlee Kruesi , Twin Falls Time-News. More here . (C-SPAN2 photo, from Twin Falls Times News)
