Budget questions

Could we have the mayor of Spokane please explain why we had street sweepers working on Garland Avenue at 9 p.m., Dec. 7-8, when we are having to cut back on employees? It just doesn’t make sense because those were the two coldest nights of the year so far.

Also, I’m still waiting for the Spokane County commissioners to give a full budget report on Raceway Park. It seems like that never happens.
