Hayes Memorial Set Saturday

The Celebration of Life for the late County Clerk Cliff Hayes is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the Lions Pavilion (heated facility) at Q’emiln Park in Post Fall. Hayes was a founding member of the Post Falls Community Volunteers and for many years helped organize barbecues, Oktoberfests, concerts and picnics at the park. Post Falls Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson tells Huckleberies: “While he was adamant in life and in passing not to want a big fuss or somber funeral, it’s perfect that Cliff will be remembered and celebrated with bratwurst and beer (provided by the Post Falls Community Volunteers). Cue Frank Sinatra singing, ‘My Way.’”
