Poll: GOPCC Clerk Pick To Be Political

• Monday Poll: Overwhelmingly, Hucks Nation predicts none of the three county clerk nominees submitted to the Kootenai County commissioners by the county GOP Central Committee this week will be qualified for the job. 64 of 146 respondents (43.85%) say that the three names will come from the ultraconservative (Tea Party) wing of the local GOP. 58 of 146 respondents (39.73%) said the three will be selected for their politics rather than their qualifications. Only 8 of 146 respondents (10.96%) say at least one of the three nominees will be qualified to hold the clerk’s office. 8 (5.48%) were undecided.
