IdahoGirl78: Why 3 Trustees At Meet?

IdahoGirl78 (re: Williams: Regan apology ‘sincere’ ): I noticed in the article that Hamilton, Regan and Hightower were all in attendance, this is considered a quorum of the board. Did the School District give notice that the three board members would be in attendance? I didn’t see a notice on the Districts web page. Did they post this information somewhere else?

Chairman Tom Hamilton replies in comments section: We live in a small town and these things are bound to happen. I assure you it was inadvertent and such situations are contemplated by Idaho’s Open Meeting Law. For one thing, OML defines “meeting” to mean “the convening of a governing body of a public agency to make a decision or to deliberate toward a decision on any matter.” Clearly this was not the case.
