Trustees Renew Bauman Contract

School trustees in Coeur d’Alene gave Superintendent Hazel Bauman (pictured in school district photo) high marks Monday before voting unanimously to add another year to the district’s top administrator’s contract. The extension will keep Bauman in her position through June 30, 2016. “I would like to publicly say that one of the best things about this job has been working with you. I have enjoyed that and I look forward to continuing that relationship quite a bit,” said board chair Tom Hamilton. Trustee Ann Seddon thanked Bauman for being accessible to board members and for sharing her insight with them. Bauman thanked the board for their support and gave credit to the school district employees. … Bauman’s annual pay remains $123,971, the same amount she has been receiving since 2009-10, when Bauman took a voluntary 5 percent pay cut decreasing her then $130,496 annual salary by $6,525/ Maureen Dolan , Coeur d’Alene Press.
