Vik Coach Leiss Rescinds Resignation
Kent Leiss, who resigned his job as the Coeur d’Alene boys coach last Friday, rescinded his resignation Wednesday afternoon. Leiss stepped down two days after a group of disguntled parents met with school administrators alleging verbal abuse. “Upon further review and reflection, I’m innocent of these accusations and charges, Leiss said he wrote in a letter he handed to CdA athletic director Todd Gilkey. Leiss said he needs to clear his name. “I want to go through the process … and show that these accusations aren’t true,” Leiss said/ Greg Lee , SR.
- Greg Lee prediction: “Here’s my prediction: Kent Leiss will be allowed to return. CdA officials want as little controversy right now as possible.”
Question: Should Coeur d’Alene High/School District allow Kent Leiss to continue coaching basketball?
