2YO Wanders Into Bar, Dad Arrested

Police arrested the father of a 2-year-old boy who wandered into a Coeur d’Alene bar Sunday afternoon. Jesse W. Edwards, 36, Hayden, was arrested on a charge of child endangerment and transported to the Kootenai County jail, police said. According to a press release, the boy was alone when he walked into Sully’s Pub and Grill, 5785 N. Government Way, about 12:30 p.m. “The child told state police officers his age, and said his name is Jake Edwards,” the release said. “He said his dad’s name is Jesse Edwards.” The blond, blue-eyed boy was wearing a blue and green Batman pajama top inside out, a blue coat, dark blue sweatpants, and black boots with characters from the movie “Cars” on them/ Coeur d’Alene Press .
