Last night the producer of Portlandia dissed Alaska Airlines Magazine and Spokane (also
Idaho, but that’s another story), saying, “This is the kind of thing you find in Alaska Air magazine and it’s like a 20 page ‘special section!’” He inserted a photo of my story. Then he tweeted. “I’ve been to Spokane and it ain’t worth no 20-page “special section”. Much Twitter-bashing of Spokan
e followed. I retweeted his Spokane dis adding, “Portlandia Producer NOT a Spokane fan and added that Matthew Modine LOVES Spokane. Matthew tweeted, “true”. Well, this impressed Mr. Portlandia so much that he said he’d come to Spokane for Spring Break. Moral of the story: Don’t bash my city on Twitter, cuz Matthew Modine has Spokane’s back. The End.
