Boy Scouts disappoints

In one fell swoop, the once-venerable Boy Scouts of America has changed its major function into a political organization. Regardless of one’s bias, politicizing leads to fractures, factions, infighting, name-calling, loss of friendships, arguments within families, churches, and sponsors.

Is that what the gay community wants? Does it not have the freedom to simply form its own uniquely gay group of young boys?

As a former Boy Scout, I am greatly disappointed with the BSA’s acquiescence. So-called political correctness has gone way beyond the breaking point.
