NIC’s Dunlap Addresses Pachyderms

President Joe Dunlap of North Idaho College holds up a North Idaho College fact and Information brochure during a speech to the North Idaho Pachyderm Club this morning. (Duane Rasmussen photo special to Huckleberries Online)

According to Duane Rasmussen, President Dunlap told the Pachyderms “that athletes at NIC have a higher grade point average than the average student.  The average student has a gpa of 2.6 while the athletes have an average of 2.9.  He said North Idaho College ranks “48th in higher education attainment.” Dunlap also said that he has moved his residence to Idaho, where he has also registered to vote. He refused to say what party he registered with or whether he had even registered as belonging to a party.  He said that matters of religion and politics were personal matters which he would not discuss.  When asked if we would have look it up ourselves, since it was public record, he said ‘yes.’”

Question: If someone asked, would you tell them which political party you belong to?
