Poll: Schools Won’t Be Safer

  • Weekend Poll: 93 of 193 respondents (48.19%) said Coeur d’Alene schools won’t be safer, even if voters approve this spring’s levy calling for $1.4M in district security upgrades. 65 of 193 respondents (33.68%), however, said the schools would be “somewhat safer,” and 15 of 193 (7.77%) said the schools will be “a lot” safer. On the other side, 9 of 193 respondents (4.66%) said the schools will be less safe if the levy is approved and security measures put inplace. 11 (5.7%) were undecided.
  • Today’s Poll: Are you satisfied, after 10 years of operations without a serious incident, that the BNSF re-fueling operation over the Rathdrum Prairie is a safe one?
