Political rumors — and that’s all they are at this point of the year — are fun. I’ve heard Lawerence Denney is trying to boost his profile in North Idaho for a possible congressional run by speaking at the Lincoln Day Dinner. Of course, that would mean that Raul would run for governor. Then, there’s state Sen. Bob Nonini who wouldn’t mind being called “congressman” either. At the city level, the rumor is that Councilman Mike Kennedy won’t seek re-election. Deanna Goodlander will. Ditto for Mayor Sandi Bloem. Interesting stuff for speculation.
