Hump Day Wild Card — 2.20.13

I’m breathing easier now that Person and Bryan playfields are safely out of the hands of the Coeur d’Alene School District — and will be preserved and upgraded by the city of Coeur d’Alene. I wonder whether the School Board would have dug in, if negotiations for the two parks hadn’t been hammered out in public. Now, it’ll be interesting to see if the School District plays hardball with the city re: use of school facilities — or negotiates with the public’s best interest in mind. Just a thought.
