Chiefs power to 4-1 advantage

Power-play goals by Mike Aviani and Mitch Holmberg less than 2 minutes apart have lifted the Spokane Chiefs to a 4-1 lead over the Edmonton Oil Kings after two periods in WHL play at the Arena on Friday night. Dylan Walchuk also scored during the period for Spokane. Chiefs goalie Garret Hughson, getting a rare start, has stopped 25 shots.
