Watching People Watching Eagles

Photographer Duane Rasmussen snapped this photo last night of eagle watchers at the boat ramp operated by the Bureau of Land Management at Wolf Lodge Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene last week. One eagle watcher was wearing a gun. Which prompted Duane to quip: “I guess these eagles can be dangerous because I have never seen rowdy bird watchers.”

Question: Someone asked if there are still eagles out on Wolf Lodge Bay. I’ve been out of town for a week or so. Anyone know the answer?
