Huckleberries Hears …

… That the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee voted 35-5 at a special meeting Wednesday night in support of a resolution opposing the creation of a state insurance exchange under Obamacare regulations. A Berry Picker reports:

“The Resolution was created at the urging of Reps. Bob Nonini and Vito Barbieri and Sen. Steve Vick. The resolution passed with minor changes to the statements justifying the resolution. Rep. Barbieri, who was present at the meeting but is not a KCRCC member, was allowed to speak to the KCRCC over the objection of several members. Objections to the Resolution by dissenting members of the KCRCC were based on various grounds. Some objected to bringing a resolution at a meeting not regularly scheduled. Some felt there was not enough information given as to the need to reject a State run Insurance Exchange. Others disagreed with the insulting language toward supporters of the State run Insurance Exchange contained in the document.”

Question: Too little, too late?
