… That the playfield at Bryan School is now in the mix as part of a counter-offer from the Coeur d’Alene School District to the city of Coeur d’Alene, which is seeking equal value for the $655,000 asking price of the district’s half of Person Field. The city wanted the dog park in the Northshire subdivision to be included in the Person Field price. But the dog park area was included in the school district sale of a larger area adjacent to it. Huckleberries doesn’t know whether the Bryan Playfield would be put up for private bid should the city reject the counter-offer. Rather than speculate, Huckleberries invites Chairman Tom Hamilton or any of the other trustees to explain what the School Board and district have in mind for the Bryan School playfield.
