No Public Comment At Person Meeting

Also: Coeur d’Alene spokeswoman Kristina Lyman has provided a list of frequently asked questions re: Person Field here.

From a Berry Picker: “Would you please post on HBO that the meeting tomorrow night will not include public comment? I’ve noticed quite a few comments that refer to letting the city know how they feel. When I spoke with the Mayor earlier today she said that it was decided by both the City and the School Board to not have public comment. I told Sandi I would try to spread the word so that people weren’t caught off guard. What a mess!”

  • Councilman Dan Gookin via email to Mayor Sandi Bloem & City Administrator Wendy Gabriel CC’d to Huckleberries: “I favor public comment and will not sit well if staff — both SD and City — have decided to muzzle the public. I believe orderly, brief public comment is entirely acceptable.”

Question: Should the city and School Board allow public comment at the Person Field hearing Thursday PM?
