Chiefs trail 2-1 after one period
Jesse Lees and Ryan Olsen scored during the first period Friday night to give the Kelowna Rockets a 2-1 lead over the Spokane Chiefs in Western Hockey League play at the Arena. Brenden Kichton scored for Spokane, his 15th goal and team-leading 55th point. Rockets outshot Chiefs 11-9.
