Edwards catches on with Shock

Nicholas Edwards is the newest member of the Spokane Shock but he’s already well known inside the organization.

Edwards, who was a standout receiver at Eastern Washington, officially signed with Spokane earlier this week. He was a Shock intern last summer.

It’ll be interesting to see where the 6-foot-3 Edwards fits within a talented group of receivers. The guess is he’ll find his way on the field, perhaps if/when the Shock clinch a playoff spot to see if he can have an impact come playoff time.
