Wild Card/Monday — 7.15.13

This week has begun with news that I’ve expected for some time — that Councilman Mike Kennedy won’t seek re-election. Or run for mayor. I can’t blame Mike for listening to the voices of his lovely wife, family and business partners. He has given much to the community while being target of a long lawsuit by former election opponent Jim Brannon and being a pincushion for the power-hungry factions of the local GOP.
