Knezovich has integrity

Well, it was just a matter of time until the “brotherhood” linked arms to take on Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich. Rather than challenge the merits of the sheriff’s decisions involving individual employees, these retired public servants have decided to form a political committee focused on the sheriff’s performance.

We finally have a chief law enforcement officer in Spokane County who has the courage to deal with officer wrongdoing and violations of the public’s trust. Knezovich is absolutely correct to push for legislation that limits appeals by officers. As a citizen who elected the sheriff, I expect nothing less.

It’s ironic that the retired employees choose to call themselves Integrity First. Sorry, gentlemen, but you are way behind Knezovich when it comes to integrity.
