No ‘CSI’ Series Beats NY Version
On her Facebook page, Katrina Swaim answers the $64,000 question re: which “CSI” show is best. Posts she: ”
I submit to you that CSI:NY is the best of all the CSI series.” Witness:
- 1. Mac Taylor - the quintessential strong and stoic leader, tough on the outside, warm and mushy on the inside. Ex-soldier, widower, oodles of meaty back story.
- 2. The music - this show often sends me looking for mp3s of the songs used in the episodes.
- 3. Danny Messer - my favorite CSI detective ever! Checkered past, gritty attitude, awesome New York accent. Boom!
- 4. Danny & Lindsay - could this pairing be any cuter or more perfect? He fell for her the moment she ate that bug. Montana meets the Big Apple, and it works.
- 5. New York - I love how the city is like a character in the show. I’ve never been to New York, but I’d like to go (and not get killed) there.
DFO: I cut my teeth on the “CSI” granddaddy, based in Las Vegas. Then, switched to Miami when Las Vegas got long in tooth and too weird re: cases. Now, I’m with Katrina. “CSI New York” is best. Yeah, I’ve watched some of the Navy version of the CSI genre, too.
Question: Which “CSI” series do you consider best?
