Stickman Equips Sorensen Students
Stickman (back) with 65 new friends earlier today outside of his breezeway, across from East Tubbs Hill Park.
Stickman: Such an interesting day today. Some schools are on there last day, and they take field trips around Tubbs Hill and if it’s warm enough, they all jump in the lake. I saw at least a couple hundred kids with their teachers doing just that. I know David Groth from Sorenson School and he wanted to know a couple of days ago if he could bring by a few kids to visit me and say ‘hi’. I said of course. They came around one and there were about 65 kids and a few teachers and a parent or two. I doubt I will ever be the same, but such an enjoyable visit. Just to see them all walking down the street is a real treat. Anyway, I had a couple of pictures taken and maybe DFO will show one tomorrow. For such a tiny carport, I managed to make them all happy with many polished rocks and shells and such. I had about 300 walking sticks at the beginning of the year but now have about 15 left. I couldn’t give any of them a stick because there were too many of them but of course told them to come back on their own and they would be welcome to a walking stick and all the rocks and shells and marbles they wanted.
Question: Does anyone out there NOT have a Stickman stick?
