Researchers Create Bee Sperm Bank

Item: Washington State University researchers are creating a honey bee sperm bank. In 2008, they got a permit to import honey bee semen and they’re working to cross-breed different kinds of honey bees to produce more resilient bees that could help thwart the nation’s current colony collapse crisis.
