Put Cruz on City Council

The City Council race for Northwest Spokane has some well-funded and interesting candidates. The candidate that I urge you to vote for is not well-funded, but has lived in the West Central area of Spokane all of his life.

Kelly Cruz has been diligent and active for the citizens of West Central and all of Spokane over the years. He’s a lifelong resident of Spokane and the West Central Neighborhood, former chair of the West Central Neighborhood Council, a stakeholder/manager for the West Central Planning effort, instrumental in the creation of the West Central Legacy Business Ordinance, a member of the Community Assembly Land Use and Pedestrian, Transportation and Traffic committees.

Cruz is a founder and current member of the West Central Association of Business, and a member of the West Central Community Coalition, currently working with organizations focusing on at-risk youth in the community.

Cruz is known to me personally, and I respect and revere his efforts for all in Spokane. A nonpartisan approach is sorely needed in our local city government.
