Get out North Idaho reviews: Le Peep

LePeep

Intrepid restaurant reviewer Patrick Jacobs got Frenchified at Le Peep located in Riverstone. As if McDonald’s french fries are French enough for Riverstone patrons!

Here he weighs in on the Monte Cristo Crepes: “I composed myself and put in my order for the Monte Christo Crepes (two crepes filled with ham, turkey, melted Swiss cheese and bacon, topped with melted Swiss cheese and served with raspberry sauce and their trademark Peasant Potatoes®). Long time readers of this blog will know that I am a Monte Christo fanatic, a Monte Christo junkie, and a Monte Christo expert. these battered and dipped ham, turkey, and cheese sandwiches are retro for sure, and although they have made somewhat of a comeback are still rather hard to locate. they are extremely unhealthy and delicious, so naturally they are right up my (wide) alley. So, I was excited to try Le Peep’s crepe interpretation of this American fatboy classic.” Read more. Patrick Jacobs, Get Out North Idaho

Bottom line? “Although it may not win any Michelin awards, for a chain Le Peep offers some fine breakfast and lunch fare, a festive atmosphere, and the tranquil river views are nearly as nice to look at as the waiters.”

Are you a fan of French fare?
