Officers from Shoshone County Sheriff Department stand by the scene of a fatal shooting last Wednesday on I-90 at milepost 72.8 near the Idaho-Montana state line east of Mullan. An Idaho State Police trooper shot and killed a motorist along Interstate 90 at Lookout Pass as a sheriff’s deputy struggled with the man over a gun.
