Issa strikes out again
Rep. Darrell Issa’s never-ending fishing expedition to try and connect the president to the targeting by the Internal Revenue Service to conservative groups has proved to be another waste of taxpayer dollars. New transcripts, which Issa knew about and refused to reveal, point to an IRS manager who is a “conservative Republican” who insisted that no one in the White House was involved.
Issa, who’s had his own legal problems in the past, has spent the last three years investigating the Obama administration. His committee has wasted countless hours and millions of taxpayer dollars on nothing but bluffs. It’s now known that the same IRS office targeted liberal groups as well as conservative. No investigation there, though, right?
Issa has been putting out false information about this administration to attempt to get the media all worked up over “the worst scandal in history.” The problem is that he’s just not very good at it. His bluff was called this time.
