WSU begins quick turnaround

FROM SEATTLE — We’re hitting the road shortly for the trek back to Pullman. That’s a trip the WSU basketball team already made last night — though it did it on an airplane and a bus — and it’s a good thing, because the Cougars have to play another basketball game on Wednesday. Coach Ken Bone said the Cougars will meet today as a team and might get some shots up or look at some film, but they won’t have a full-fledged practice after playing on Sunday. Around the Pac-12 … There was one other game yesterday, and it ended in predictable fashion with Stanford beating Utah , 84-66. … An Arizona guard is finding his rhythm after struggling through February. … Larry Scott wanted Pac-12 teams to give themselves a chance to pick up some quality nonconference wins this season.
