Adams, Gridley Cross Swords

In one of the most intense confrontations at a City Council meeting in my memory, Councilman Steve Adams said City Attorney Mike Gridley treated him disrespectfully during a 5-minute council break. Adams reported to the council that, at 7:18 p.m. during a discussion in the break, that Gridley called him “an ignorant shit,” which Adams said was “disrespectful, unprofessional, confrontational and flat-out rude.” Adams continued by saying that he would add it to an ethics complaint he plans to file against Gridley with the Idaho Bar Association. Gridley responded to Adams comment by saying: “I stand by my words.” See video here.
