Digger: Gookin Rocks A Bow Tie

I admit that I missed an interesting side story in that Coeur d’Alene City Council slap-down between Councilman Steve Adams and City Attorney Mike Gridley — Councilman Dan Gookin’s bow tie. I must have missed that while studying Mayor Sandi Bloem’s stunned face after Adams tattled in the open forum that Gridley had called him a name during the break. Neener. Neener. But Digger set things right in the comments section by pointing out: “On an unrelated note, kudos to Gookin for rocking the bow tie.” My son, now a Florida resident, says bow ties are popular in the south. But he has resisted a non-existent urge to wear one. How about you?
