Blast From Past: Dukakis Is A Winner?

DFO reported on this 25 years ago — on March 11, 1988:

Kootenai County supporters of Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis wooed uncommitted delegates from the start Tuesday night, posting banners that said, “Dukakis visited daho, uncommitted did not! Don’t waste your vote on a theory!” Their strategy ran counter to that of leading county Democrats including Chairman Dave Poss, who had urged voters to remain uncommitted. They had hoped to send an uncommitted Idaho delegation to their party’s nationa convention to increase the impact of Idaho’s 23 delegates. The Dukakis forces’ strategy won, capturing 36 percent of voters and 10 delegates. Their candidate emerged as the plurality winner at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on a rainy Tuesday/ DFO & Dean Miller , SR.

Question: Name a presidential candidate you supported who turned out to be a clunker?
