Redux: Different Results In Levy Polls

Originally posted 9:02 a.m. Tuesday

Polls conducted by Huckleberries Online and the Coeur d’Alene Press re: the supplemental school levies going on in North Idaho today show vastly different results. The polls aren’t exactly the same. The Press poll asks readers whether they’re going to vote for a special levy — the two-year, $27.2M Coeur d’Alene School Bond. My poll asked whether my readers are going to vote for the supplemental levy in their school district. In the Press poll, 54.5% of the readers said they planned to vote “no” on the Coeur d’Alene School levy, while 35.7% said they would vote “yes.” In the Huckleberries poll, 58.72% of the readers said they would vote “yes” in their school district poll, 37.21% said they’ vote “no.”

Question: Final results in Coeur d’Alene: 66.2% yes. How do you interpret the 2 polls now?
