The best hour of television I watched in the past week, besides the Gonzaga WCC tournament wins, was a re-run. Last night. On Coeur d’Alene TV Channel 19. My wife had to come from the other room to see why I was howling with laughter. The program. The throw-down between Councilman Steve Adams and City Attorney Mike Gridley. Adams stubborn lay interpretation of the Idaho Constitution brought chuckles. The exchange between Gridley and him re: Gridley’s name calling during a break brought laughter. But the open-mouth, stunned expression on Mayor Sandi Bloem’s face after the exchange, which I hadn’t noticed before, brought my house down. Great TV. Channel 19, take a bow. Now for today’s Wild Card …
