Silver Rates Zags Win At 6.1%

American statician Nate Silver, who correctly predicted how 49 of 50 states would vote in the 2008 presidential election, rates Gonzaga of winning the NCAA Tournament at 6.1% — fifth overall of the teams selected automatically or at large to the 2013 tournament. The other three No. 1 seeds and Miami are rated above Gonzaga. However, Silver rates Gonzaga’s chances of reaching the final four at 33.4% and of reaching the tournament title game at 15.5%. You can see Silver’s rankings here.

Question: Will you be playing hooky from work to see Gonzaga/Southern game at 1 p.m. Thursday?
